Discipline Determines Destiny

You cannot possess what you won’t pursue – Robert L. Wagner

There are dreams and goals that many of us desire. We have thought about it, we have written them down, and we have even created vision boards. However, unless you make the effort to pursue that thing, you will not possess it. Only runners obtain the prize. Only fighters win the match. If you don’t attempt the shot you are guaranteed a 0% chance to make it.

Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “if you cannot fly; run, if you cannot run; walk, if you cannot walk; then crawl. By all means, keep moving.” It will take work, it may cause pain, but as Anthony Robbins said, “there are two kinds of pains in life: the pain of discipline and the pain of regret.”

Discipline determines destiny! So if you want to possess it, by all means, pursue it and make every effort to exercise discipline along the way, because the worst thing than the pain of discipline is the pain of regret.

What are you pursuing? What do you want to possess? How can someone coach, motivate or run with you?
